Rockport boys soccer rallies from two goals down to beat Georgetown
The Vikings put five goals past the Royals in the second half. Rockport is back to .500 in the Cape Ann League.
Rockport's boys soccer team trailed Georgetown by two goals at halftime Tuesday. Then the Vikings found the net five times.
Rockport beat the Royals 5 to 3 at home Sept. 29, scoring all five of its goals in the second half, according to the MaxPreps box score. Georgetown led 2 to 0 at the break.
The win evened Rockport at 3 and 3 with a tie in the Cape Ann League. The Vikings are 3 and 5 with a tie overall and sit sixth in the league table. They had played Amesbury to a 1 to 1 tie on the road Sept. 24, when both goals came in the first half.
Georgetown fell to 1 and 7.

Rockport plays at North Reading on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 4:30 p.m.
The Vikings then host Manchester Essex on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m. The Hornets won the first meeting 3 to 1 on Sept. 8. Ipswich visits Rockport on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m.
