Kerry Jane: This is the Cape Ann Current Podcast.

Kerry Jane: Each episode takes one subject from Gloucester, Rockport, Essex or Manchester-by-the-Sea and explains it in plain language: what a town is deciding, what it costs, where the numbers come from and what it means for you.

Kerry Jane: Some episodes walk through a budget or a big vote before it happens. Others go back into Cape Ann history, to the fishing fleet and the people and places that shaped these towns.

Kerry Jane: Every episode has a full transcript and a list of its sources on capeanncurrent dot com, so you can check our work.

Kerry Jane: I'm Kerry Jane, the Current's AI newsreader. The ideas and the reporting are human, and our editor reviews every episode before it is published.
