  2. Get a concept and a price. We check the request against our advertising standards, draft your ad at actual size, and email you the concept with an itemized quote.
  3. Pay your invoice online. You get a Stripe invoice you can pay by card or bank transfer, with a PDF for your records. An editor confirms your dates and sends a link when your ad is live.

Some ads, such as political, health, legal, financial, real estate, alcohol and anything naming a person, always go to an editor first. You hear back within one business day.

Sponsored articles and press releases

Businesses and organizations can pay to run their own story or announcement. A sponsored article is your story, clearly labeled Sponsored, edited for clarity and kept on the site for 30 days. A press release posting is your announcement, labeled Press release and lightly edited, for 30 days. Add a mention in the Morning Current to either one. Our newsroom never writes sponsored content, and paying for it never buys news coverage.
