2026 Ballot Question Committee Questionnaire
The Cape Ann Current asks the lead committee on each side of every 2026 statewide ballot question the same two questions. Answers appear side by side in our Nov. 3 voter guide for Gloucester, Rockport, Essex and Manchester-by-the-Sea.
Rules
- Answers are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16. Committees without answers by then are listed as "Did not respond by deadline."
- 150 words or fewer for each answer. We publish answers as written and fix only obvious typos.
- You may pass on either question. The guide will say you chose not to answer.
- Answers run in quotation marks as the committee's own words, with the committee's name. The Current reports each side's position and does not endorse anything said, and answers are not advertising.
- You can send the form again to make corrections. We use your latest answers.
