The City Council is expected to vote on the grant later this month.
The city says the Cape Ann Veterans Services office will be closed Monday, October 19, through Wednesday, October 21, for mandatory staff training. The office reopens Thursday, October 22.

A small craft advisory is in effect on Massachusetts Bay until 2 a.m. Sunday. Forecasters say Sunday brings patchy early frost, then sun and a high near 53.
