Renew by the Sea Regenerative Care and A'mi Nail Studio have set up shop downtown. The nail studio holds a free open house Oct. 8.

Two new businesses focused on wellness have opened on Beach Street in downtown Manchester-by-the-Sea.

Renew by the Sea Regenerative Care

Dr. Pamela Jarboe, a chiropractor, recently opened Renew by the Sea Regenerative Care at 17 Beach St., according to a release the practice posted with the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce.

The practice is in the Cape Ann Savings Bank plaza across from Crosby's Market, in the last doorway on the left, according to its Chamber listing. Parking in the plaza is free.

The practice says it offers gentle chiropractic care, neurofeedback, shockwave and red light therapy, with a focus on the nervous system, recovery and healthy aging.

Hours listed with the Chamber are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The phone number is 978-263-9355.

Jarboe will give a 30-minute talk, "From Survival to Revival: Rewiring the Female Nervous System," at the Women's Wellness Expo at Endicott College in Beverly on Sunday, Oct. 4. The talk is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. The practice said the expo runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Renew by the Sea plans a free official open house on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A'mi Nail Studio

A'mi Nail Studio, at 17B Beach St., will hold a grand opening open house on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The free event includes light refreshments, raffle prizes and a special offer for the first 20 guests, according to the Chamber's event listing.

The studio says it uses non-toxic, vegan and cruelty-free products along with traditional polishes.
