Rocky Neck Art Colony sets Halloween fundraiser at 51 Rocky Neck Oct. 24
The third annual Beaux Arts Ball adds an online auction of 12 experiences. Tickets are $75, or $60 for colony members.
The Rocky Neck Art Colony will hold its third annual Beaux Arts Ball Halloween Bash on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 51 Rocky Neck Restaurant, 51 Rocky Neck Ave., in Gloucester.
The costume party runs from 6 to 10 p.m. It opens with a silent auction at 6 p.m. A cash bar, passed hors d'oeuvres and live music by NTrain follow from 7 to 10 p.m. Best costume judging is at 9 p.m., with prizes.
New this year is an online silent auction of 12 one-of-a-kind experiences put together for the ball. The colony says the auction will open online so people can bid whether or not they attend.
Tickets are $75, or $60 for colony members. A table of six costs $750. Tickets are sold through a link on the colony's website, rockyneckartcolony.org.
Proceeds support the nonprofit colony's exhibitions, artist programs, education and the Cultural Center at Rocky Neck, according to the colony. The colony was founded in 1973.
