Amesbury beat Manchester Essex 46 to 8 at Hyland Field on Friday night, according to the Boston Herald's scoreboard.

The loss dropped the Hornets to 0 and 4 overall and 0 and 3 in the Cape Ann League. Amesbury improved to 3 and 1 and 2 and 1 in the league. The Redhawks also beat Manchester Essex 40 to 0 last fall. Read the game preview.
