Gloucester's Fiona Black and Mia Rodolosi top the area field hockey scoring list, with Hornets close behind
Goalie Aleena Brown leads area keepers. Manchester Essex has three players among the leaders, and Rockport's goalie makes the list too.

Gloucester's field hockey team has the top two scorers in the area and the top goalie, according to a points leaders list the team shared on its Facebook page.
Junior forward Fiona Black leads the list with 18 points on 13 goals and 5 assists. Mia Rodolosi is second with 17 points, including 14 assists. Olivia Madruga is 11th with 9 points on 4 goals and 5 assists.
In goal, senior Aleena Brown tops the area's goalies with 7 wins and 5 shutouts.
Manchester Essex is close behind. Kiernan Day is tied for third on the scoring list with 15 points on 5 goals and 10 assists, and Katie Crompton is tied for ninth with 9 points on 7 goals and 2 assists. Hornets goalie Maeve McArdle is second among area goalies with 6 wins, 34 saves and 5 shutouts.
Rockport goalie Natasha Proposki is sixth, with 2 wins and 3 shutouts.
The numbers help explain Gloucester's 8 and 0 start. The Fishermen have outscored opponents 38 to 5, according to the scores the school entered with the MIAA, and they beat Danvers 5 to 2 on Thursday.
The goalie numbers match the scores the other two schools entered as well. Manchester Essex is 6, 2 and 1 with five shutouts, and one of its losses was 2 to 0 at Gloucester on Sept. 25. Rockport is 2, 5 and 2 with three shutouts.
