Town and city offices close Monday for Columbus Day. Public meetings pick up again Tuesday. Here is what the city, the towns and the school districts have posted so far for Tuesday and Wednesday. Agendas can change, so check the posted agenda before you go.

Tuesday, Oct. 13

Gloucester

  • City Council, 6:30 p.m., City Hall, 9 Dale Ave., second floor. The agenda includes appointments, donations and grant requests, utility petitions from National Grid and others, public hearings on zoning changes and road matters, and a vote on an election warrant.
  • Licensing Board, 6:30 p.m., 19 Harbor Loop.

Essex

  • Board of Health, 9 a.m.
  • Board of Selectmen, 6 p.m.
  • Essex School Building Committee, community meeting at 6 p.m., then the committee's meeting at 7 p.m., Manchester Memorial Elementary School, 43 Lincoln St., Manchester-by-the-Sea. What Manchester's boards heard about the school's cost.

Manchester-by-the-Sea

  • Conservation Commission, 6:30 p.m., on Zoom.
  • Planning Board, 7 p.m., Town Hall or on Zoom.

Rockport

  • Council on Aging, 5 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 14

  • Gloucester School Committee, 6 p.m., Gloucester High School library, 32 Leslie O. Johnson Road.
  • Manchester Council on Aging executive board, 4:30 p.m., and Harbor Advisory Committee, 5:30 p.m., both at Town Hall or on Zoom.
  • Rockport Affordable Housing Trust, 6:30 p.m.
