MassDOT will work on the Centennial Avenue bridge in Gloucester starting Monday, Nov. 2, the city said in a notice posted Friday.
What to expect
The bridge will be closed after the morning school commute, and traffic will be rerouted.
It reopens at 2 p.m. to help traffic leaving Gloucester High School.
The city says the work is expected to take "a couple of days."
The notice does not say what the work is, give a detour route or list an end date. Watch for signs on the road and leave extra time around school drop off and pickup. Read the city's notice.
