Unbeaten Gloucester field hockey is the No. 6 seed in Division 3, hosts Old Rochester

Gloucester finished the regular season 18 and 0. The Fishermen host No. 27 Old Rochester Regional in the round of 32 of the MIAA Division 3 tournament, which starts Nov. 5.

Gloucester's field hockey team finished the regular season 18 and 0 and is the No. 6 seed in the MIAA Division 3 state tournament.

The Fishermen host No. 27 Old Rochester Regional of Mattapoisett in the round of 32. The MIAA says the tournament begins Thursday, Nov. 5, and higher seeds host the early rounds, so the game will be in Gloucester. The date and start time will be added here once the MIAA posts them.

If Gloucester wins, it plays the winner of No. 11 Falmouth and No. 22 Blackstone Valley Tech in the round of 16. Sandwich is the top seed in the division. The state finals are expected Nov. 20 and 21.

Gloucester closed the regular season with a 4 to 0 win over Swampscott on Sunday.
