Gloucester city offices close Monday, Oct. 12, and the clerk's office pauses regular business Oct. 30 for the election
City Hall closes for Columbus Day and reopens Tuesday, Oct. 13. On Friday, Oct. 30, the last day of early voting, the City Clerk's office will handle only election business.
Gloucester city offices will be closed Monday, Oct. 12, for Columbus Day, the city said. They reopen at regular hours Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Manchester-by-the-Sea's Town Hall is also closed Oct. 12, according to the town calendar.
Clerk's office on Oct. 30
The Gloucester City Clerk's office will close for general business on Friday, Oct. 30, to get ready for the Nov. 3 state election, the city said. The office will stay open that day for anything related to the election.
Oct. 30 is also the last day of early voting. If you need other help from the clerk's office that week, plan to go before Friday.
Neither town has posted a holiday change to trash pickup. We will add one if the city or town announces it.
