Gloucester's Licensing Board holds two public hearings on liquor licenses Tuesday night, according to its agenda.

What is on the agenda

  • Rocky Neck Lobster Company II, 115 East Main St., Building 121: a petition for a change of class for an available on premises, Section 12 annual restaurant license for all alcoholic beverages.
  • Gloucester Restaurant Group, doing business as Mehfil, 226 Washington St.: a petition for a new annual Section 12 license for all alcoholic beverages.
  • Hammond Castle Museum, 80 Hesperus Ave.: under continued business, a request for a special one day license to serve all alcoholic beverages at the Goblin King Ball gala fundraiser on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31.
  • The board also plans to discuss special meetings for annual liquor license renewals and to approve minutes from July 14, Aug. 5, Aug. 11, Sept. 8 and Sept. 28.

A Section 12 license is the state's license for restaurants and other places that serve drinks on the premises.
