Tuesday brings a full night of public meetings after the Columbus Day weekend. Here is what the town and school calendars list for Tuesday, Oct. 13.

Gloucester

• SFL Corporate Communications Committee, 9 a.m. The agenda lists a library programming update, a tech event, the annual meeting, corporators, the annual appeal, the November Lyceum event and the Development Committee.
• City Council, 6:30 p.m., City Hall, 9 Dale Ave., second floor. Read what is on the agenda.
• Licensing Board, 6:30 p.m., 19 Harbor Loop, with hearings on two liquor licenses. Read what is on the agenda.

Essex

• Board of Health, 9 a.m.
• Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee, 6 p.m., Manchester Memorial School. Both agendas list one item: attending the school building community meeting.
• Essex School Building Committee, community meeting on the Essex Elementary building project at 6 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Elementary School in Manchester, then the committee's business meeting at 7 p.m., with a vote expected on its schematic design submittal to the state. Rockport

• Council on Aging, 5 p.m., Community House. Rockport's boards this week.

Manchester-by-the-Sea

• Conservation Commission, 6:30 p.m., on Zoom.
• Planning Board, 7 p.m., on Zoom or in person at Town Hall. Read what both Manchester boards take up.
